Abstract

Branding ‘Islam’ has become a trend nowadays. Efforts made by leading institutions towards

the state purpose of developing Islam or otherwise have other agendas in particular worldly

gains. There is also debate on the issues of Islamization the community. Peel off the notion of

writing highlights several leaders in Malaysia and later compared with the perspective of

local community. The discussion in this paper would like to highlight the issue of

institutional branding is essential to the seriousness and sincerity of the leading institution to

be more trustworthy for all planning and action in order to keep the image of Islam from any

disorders that worsen/defamation of religion.
