This is the case study of business challenge faced by new player in uniform apparel particularly in marketing issues. The case background provided complete information about background RS Frenzy Apparel, the apparel industry overview, competition and market segmentation, and the current scenario of uniform apparel. The case write-up also recommended and suggests the implementation plan for the alternative marketing strategies of RS Frenzy Apparel.
In the case study analysis, several strategic tools were employed which are (1) SWOT matrix analysis for developing of marketing strategies and plans, (2) FCB grid for build up strong brand and image of “Unifrom.my”, and (3) New marketing mix for managing marketing channels, in order to evaluate the competitive position and direction for RS Frenzy Apparel. The findings were used to analyse the possible problem(s) and purpose best alternative solutions for RS Frenzy Apparel to embark on. The analysis also provided various scale of action plan to be undertaken by RS Frenzy Apparel in its effort to promote “Uifrom.my” brand name and put RS Frenzy Apparel in the proper direction in meeting the marketing challenges in the uniform apparel industry.
