Abstract
Cassava (Manihot esulenta Crantz) and Ceara Rubber (Manihot glaziovii Muell.Arg) are belongs to genus Manihot of the family Euphorbiaceae. Cassava is cultivated for its tuberos roots while ceara rubber has the broader leaves. When they are grafted, benefits from both plants can be achieved. The objective of this research was to study the compatibility and growth of grafting between ceara rubber (Manihot glaziovii Muell.Arg)as scion and four different cassava (Manihot esulenta Crantz)clones collected from different regions in Kelantan. The compatibility of the grafting from all clones was 100% succeed. Clone from Bukit Bunga (CBB) had the best adaptation when grafted with ceara rubber. |
