Pot planting is one of the small scale planting methods that is the cheapest compared to large scale farming. Growing plants in pots does not only give the favour of enjoying more greenery and harvesting the indicated yield such as small herbaceous plants but also the joy of planting. With the complexity of tasks and the diversity of jobs that require higher demand of time nowadays have neglected the responsibilities for watering the plants planted in the pots. The invention of gravity flow flower pot has been created to ease and facilitate the busy lifestyle of the people in this era. A study was made to establish the relationship between the number of pores and the flow rate of water. Five gravity flow flower pots with different number of pores at the same size were made to conduct that study. Then, the okra plants were planted in each pot to observe the growth rate. The correlation between the flow rate of to of plants was studied. In the study, it was found that water and the higher number of pores will increase with higher flow rate of water. The pot with four pores had produced a significant Pearson's coefficient (r=0.015, with P<0.05) with the highest growth rate compared to other pots which had three, six, eight and ten pores. In conclusion, the plant planted with four pores produced the most optimal result.
