Slope stability analysis is one type of method measure to determine the stability of a slope based on the rock and soil strength. When slope is instable state it will cause slope failure. The objectives of this research are to update a geological map for the 25km² of study area, determining the physical soil properties at Kampung Baru, Gua Musang, Kelantan and to identify geological factor that cause slope failure. Lithology of study area consists of two types of rock which is mudstone and limestone. The age of the rock is from Triassic to Permian. There are four slope failures at study area. The size of slope failure is range from small to large. To determine the physical soil properties at study area, there three laboratories testing that will conduct which are grain size analysis test, atterberg limit test and hydrometer. From the result, it can conclude that, the study area consist four type of soil which are clayey gravel and sand, gravel and sand mixture, silty gravel and sand and silty soil.
