General geology and paleoenvironment of Pos Blau, Gua Musang, Kelantan

The research is conducted at Pos Blau which located at Gua Musang, Kelantan. This research is conducted to update the geological map of Pos Blau and to determine the paleoenvironment of Pos Blau with microfossils. The method used is included geological mapping and petrographic thin section analysis. Radiolarian chert block is the remnant of Paleo-Tethys Ocean that exposed along Gua Musang- Cameron Highland Hihgway. Pos Blau is proved as deep marine environment in the ancient life. The presences of radiolarian (Hegleria mammilla and Pseudoalbaillella cf longtanensis) can be grouped into two assemblages zone (Pseudoalbaillella .fusiformis Zone and Follicucullus monacanthus Zone) dan they are as the indicator for the organisms that lives in deep marine/oceanic environment in the past life.
