This project presents the studies of farm and disease management practices in selected banana farms in Kelantan. Farm and disease management are practices applied to control the disease occurrence in plantation. This research is function in collecting data by conducting a preliminary survey to identify the common farm and disease management practices in local banana farm in Kelantan. A minimum number of 30 respondents are selected and data is analysed using Chi Square test and descriptive analysis. Based on the data collected, results shown a higher percentage of farmers preferably not using the Integrated Disease Management (IDM) due to limited knowledge and less exposure on IDM. Preferably, most farmers chose to use chemical pesticide as control, thus causing less interest in applying IDM system. Collected data can be used in future study as a reference in determining the factors that causing the spreading of diseases in the banana farms in selected areas in Kelantan, thus helping in preventing major diseases occurrence in banana farm at early stage.
