Fertigated chilli (capsicum annuum l.) production under netted rain shelter by using autopot and soil mixed system

This research was conducted in the netted house of Agro Park, University Malaysia Kelantan, Jeli Campus. The objective of this research was to study the plants growth performance of chilli cultivated by using two fertigation system that is soil mixed system and autopot system. Capsicum annum L. var. Kulai and Capsicum annuum L. var. Sweet Banana was cultivated inside netted house by using soil mixed system and autopot system during monsoon season. The plants cultivated by using soil mixed system experienced growth rate; higher height of plant, diameter of stem, numbers of leaves, length of leaves and width of leaves. For yield parameter, the yield produce by soil mixed system also has better performances in term of length of fruits, diameter of fruits and the thickness of pericarp. Therefore, soil mixed system which showed higher plants growth and yield performances are better or more suitable for commercial Chillies production.
