Abstract
A study has be conducted in a lowland mixed dipterocarp forest in Gunung Stong State Park, Kelantan to study the floristic composition, diversity, richness and evenness. 172 stems were studied consisting of 28 families, 54 genera and 72 species with a size ranging from 5-m height and above will be identified up to species level. Evaluation of the species diversity, richness, evenness and importance value of the tree species revealed that Dyera costulata is the most dominant species in Gunung Stong State Park (Iv = 36.17). While family Dipterocarpaceae is the most dominant family in Gunung Stong State Park in term of number of species, genus and individuals found in the study plots. |
