60 plants of Rock Melon var. Gordes grown by using fertigation system were investigated. 30 plants were planted under netted rain shelter and another 30 plants were planted outside netted rain shelter to compare the growth performance between these two environments. Data for number of leaves, plants height, leaf area and leaf perimeter, diameter of stem and fruits, number of pollination success and diameter of fruits according to number of fruits per plants was recorded. From the data taken all the result showed the significant difference between plants planting outside and under netted rain shelter. It was found that plants under netted rain shelter showed better performance in form of growth compared to outside netted rain shelter. Pest and disease also attacked the plants at the outside besides of the weather problem that caused plants damage.
