Factor influencing choice of teachers as among women

The number of women who venture into field of teacher grows every year. Government policies formulated to assist these women and encourage their choice the teachers as career in the future. This study aims to identify the factor that influences women to choose teacher as a career and determine the main factor that influences the inclination to becoming a teacher. Factor examined include salary, family and personal and demographic details from age, race, education level, salary and state. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed to teacher at Sekolah Menengah Pengkalan Chepa. Findings show that women involvement in career as teacher because attracted with the salary. In the case, women are also motivated to sustain to secure higher income and achieve better standard of living. Discussion on findings, conclusion and limitations of study are also including in the report.
