This present study aimed to investigate the diversity and distribution of fish from three stations in Pulau Suri, Delta Tumpat, which have not been studied before. Fish samples were collected from 8th July to 29th September 2017. Distance for each sampling site took place along a 2km reach comprising three characteristics of water flow (slow, steady and fast) to represent the species composition by using a trammel nets. A total of 600 individuals of fish comprising 22 species, 17 families and 5 orders were recorded. Among fishes collected, 53% were from the order Perciformes and Decapterus maruadsi was the most abundance species. Species Richness and Simpson index of diversity were used in the analysis to compare the species diversity. The highest diversity of fish was recorded in station 2 (282) with Simpson Index D51 = 0.77952 and the lowest was for station 1 (70) with DS1= 0.98656.
