Geological information must be updated periodically as necessary with the recent data and findings. Geological map is important for many practical applications as it shown geological data such as rock unit, stratigraphy, features and structure. The study area bounded by coordinate latitude of 4°53’10”N to 4°55’50”N and longitude of 102°22’O”E to lO2°24’40”E. This research aims to produce a geological map with 1:250000-scale of Aring area with specific dimension area of 25 kmz and to investigate landslide formed in study area by using resistivity survey. In order to produce a geological map, field studies is done which is geological mapping including sampling, traversing and obtaining other geological data such as lithology, structure, geomorphology and land use. Rock samples are taken for petrographic analysis to confirm the rocks found in the study area. It is crucial in updating the existing geological data. All data whether it is new or not is uploaded in ArcGIS software. From the analysis and interpretation made, it is confirm that the study area is primarily composed of three lithologies unit which is shale unit, tuff unit and andesite unit from Aring Formation. Two types of electrode configuration, Wenner and Pole-Dipole configuration were used and the data was recorded by instrument of ABEM Terrameter LS. Two landslides were chosen to conduct two profiles survey for each landslide. The result show the sliding surface of landslide and low resistivity value indicate presence of high water content in the material which is the weak zone of the landslide.
