The study area of geological mapping and the distribution of elements in different rock types were carried out at Kampung Kuala Renok, Gua Musang, Kelantan. The study are was covered exactly 25 km2. Kampung Kuala Renok is one part of Gua Musang Formation. This research covers of produced and update geological map of study area as well as to study geochemistry of rock based on its element distribution. Geological map was produce with scale of 1:25 000. Based on geological mapping that was conducted in the study area, four lithology units were identified which comprises of alluvium, granite, limestone and tuff. For research on geochemistry of rock was carried out by taking two rock sample with different lithology, which are igneous rock (granite) and sedimentary rock (limestone). All rock sample were analysis using petrography analysis and X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF) for geochemistry analysis. Result from XRF analysis shows different elements of major and trace in two type of rock. This research is to get the detailed information on the geochemistry of rock and also to update new information that has change because of the geological area for that study area. Every type of rock has their own mineralogical classification for their naming but it does not tell us about their nature. From elements obtained were discuss about history event, tectonic setting and depositional environment of geology. Results from this study can contribute to the fundamental of geology knowledge of the study area and become reference for future researchers.
