The study area is located in Kampung Batu Melintang, Jeli, Kelantan. Batu Melintang situated around 15 km away from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The study is focusing on general geology of and geochemistry of granite in the study area. This study area is bordered by latitude of 5˚40’19’’N to 5˚43’47’’N and longitude of 101˚41’53’’E to 101˚45’30’’E. The aim of this paper are to update geological map of the study area in 1:25,000 scale and to study the geochemistry analysis and interpretation of granite rocks in the study area. The methods used are preliminary study, followed by field work which is geological mapping and laboratory work. For analysis geochemistry of granite X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) method are used. The lithology found in the study area are limestone, andesite, schist and granite. The mineral that are identified in the lithology are mostly quartz and biotite in granite and schist. They are included in the Permian, Triassic and Cretaceous age. In order to carry out geochemical analysis, major element and trace element were analyse using XRF. The result of XRF show the geochemical data of granite can be classified in calcalkaline series based on major element. For trace element the graph that can be plotted only trace element vs chondrites
