Abstract
Rapid development in global lead to high demand of cement production as cement is one of compulsory component in concrete. Due to this, development of waste materials from agricultural by product to replace cement as its production effect the environment will help to reduce the pollution including reduce the unsystematic waste management. High silica content in rice husk ash was found out potential to partially replace cement as reaction between cement and rice husk ash can improve the compressive strength of concrete. With the aid of response surface methodology, the optimization of utilizing rice husk ash as partial replacement of cement in concrete can be achieve. Due to this, a concrete incorporated with rice husk ash with high compressive strength can be produce. |
