Abstract

Nowadays, there are changes in consumer trends of eating out and increased the popular choices of fast-food restaurants. The increase of the popularity of fast-food restaurants is because Malaysians adopt and adapt western styles of food style. This demand for fast food is increasing because of convenience, cost, menu, flavour, and taste. In addition to the Malaysian changes in eating trends, this study is focused on the intention of influencing fast food consumption among hospitality students at the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The objective of this study is to grasp the eating behaviour of University Malaysia Kelantan students towards fast food consumption. As for that, the quantitative methodology is used in this study. Simple random sampling is used as a sampling frame. The total number of 352 respondents was collected and analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) version 25. This study's results elucidate there is a positive relationship between the variables taken for this study. The finding from this research is plausibility to engage for the future research.
