This study is about the general geology and evaluation of Gunung Reng, Jeli, Kelantan as a potential geomorphosite using the M-GAM model in the village of Gunong Batu Melintang, Jeli, Kelantan. The purpose of this study is to create a detailed geological map of the study region at a scale of 1:25 000 and to assess the geomorphology in the study area in terms of prospective geomorphosites. Gunung Reng is one of Malaysia's most unusual and imaginative mimetolith limestone formations, resembling a "human face looking upward." Gunung Reng is not a true mountain, but a significant mogote hill in Kampung Gunong, Batu Melintang sub-district, Jeli district. This hill is approximately 200 meters high and features a cave. Additionally, the study region was adjacent to Sungai Pergau, which is the main river and demonstrates a drainage system. This river's drainage system, which follows the flat alluvium to the south of the hills, enhances the beauty of the terrain in this study region. It contains unique geological characteristics and landforms to conduct research and surveys. Modified Geosites assessment model (M-GAM) is a model for assessing geomorphosites that was evolved from the Geosite Assessment Model (GAM) and shares the same structure of indicators and sub indicators consisting of main and additional values. M-GAM is investigated from the perspective of two target groups whose divergent views on the value of sub indicators can influence the position of geosites in the M-GAM matrix. The geological map of Gunung Reng has been revised, and the M-GAM assessment of high values indicates the suitability of Geomorphosites with a high value indicator of scenic and aesthetic view due to their unique geomorphological characteristics.
