This study is about the geology and landslide hazard zonation analysis using GIS in kampung Chegar Bedil, Jeli, Kelantan. The study area for this research is located at Kampung Chegar Bedil, Jeli, Kelantan with coordinate at latitudes of 05o36’30” N to 05o38’30” N and longitudes 101o52’0” E to 101o54’0” E. This research was conducted within the box of an area of 5 km x 5 km in Kampung Chegar Bedil, Jeli, Kelantan. The purposes of this research are to produce a detailed and updated geological map of Kampung Chegar Bedil in the scale 1:25,000, to identify causative factors of landslide hazard Kampung Chegar Bedil, Jeli, Kelantan and to produce Landslide Hazard Zonation Map of Kampung Chegar Bedil, Jeli, Kelantan. Geographic information system is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all kinds of spatial or geographic data. The geological aspects involve the study of geomorphology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and historical geology of the study area. The geological characteristics were analyzed through geological mapping method. The Weighted Overlay Method (WOM) was utilised to generate the landslide hazard zonation map using the Geographical Information System (GIS). The characteristics that caused the landslide to occur were evaluated and superimposed to create the landslide hazard zonation map. At the end of the study, the landslide hazard zonation map of the study area was produced. The findings revealed that the landslide hazard zonation map was classified into five groups which are Class 1 means there is no hazard, class 2 means there is a moderate hazard, class 3 means there is a medium hazard, class 4 means there is a high hazard, and class 5 means there is a very high hazard. Based on the landslide hazard zonation map, the study area is covered with a low hazard of landslide and the probability of landslide to occur is low
