The research area was conducted within Kuala Balah, Jeli, Kelantan which was approximately 25km2 using the measurement region of 5 km x 5km from latitude 050 25’40.30” N to 050 22’57.58” N and longitudes 1010 53.13’20” E to 1010 50.31’04” E. The purpose of this study is to update the geological map of Kuala Balah, Jeli, Kelantan at the scale of 1:25,000, to determine the parameters that are potentially causing landslide and to produce the landslide susceptibility map of Kuala Balah, Jeli. The method that has been applied is the secondary data collection aided by Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Based on the WOM method in the ArcGIS software, five parameters have been chosen to determine the landslide susceptibility: slope, lithology, distance to drainage, land use and aspect. These parameters were used to produce thematic maps and the weightage for each parameter had been assigned based on the references from the previous study. All thematic maps were overlay and reclassify using WOM equation which referred as sum of all overlays thematic maps. As a result, the susceptibility zone was divided into five: the very low, low, moderate, high, very high susceptibility zone to landslide. 40% of the study area has low susceptibility to landslide and 44% of the study area has moderate susceptibility to landslide.
