In order to effectively plan and carry out conservation efforts for the faunas that have been recorded in Kechau, Pahang, it is essential to have data pertaining to the diversity and abundance of faunas. There is a need for fauna’s surveys to be carried out in Kechau, Pahang, because there is a paucity of data pertaining to the faunas that can be found there. This research was carried out with the purpose of gaining knowledge regarding the variety of faunas that can be found in Kechau, Pahang. At the location of the sampling, a total of ten camera traps were set up, and 17 different species were observed over the course of four weeks of sampling days. The Eurasian Wild Pig was the most frequently observed species. At Kechau, in the state of Pahang, rare species such as the Asian Golden Cat and the Great Argus were documented. In conclusion, the diversity and abundance of faunas in Kechau, Pahang is an aspect worth studying in the future. The diversity of faunas in the area has not yet been fully explored, and there is a high possibility that there are species that have not yet been accounted for. Therefore, it is an aspect worth studying because it is an aspect worth studying in the future.
