This study aims to examine the relation between Information Technology and Communications (ICT) with supply chain performance (reliability, responsiveness, agility, cost and asset management of the supply chain) and competitive advantage (product quality, cost, delivery dependability, product innovation and time-to-market) among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with focus in Kelantan. Previous literatures and studies suggest that practices of ICT in business operation and management influence the competitive advantage of the business; however the relations of ICT to competitive advantage from supply chain performance perspective are yet to be determined. There are in total of 117 questionnaires were able to be collected from manufacturing sector SMEs. Data was analysed using SPSS. The finding of this study shows that in manufacturing sector of SMEs industry, there is a significant relationship between ICT adoption and application, supply chain performance and competitive advantage. This study hopes that the results could give contributions to the body of knowledge by enriching literature reviews in this field as well and contribution to practice.
