Abstract

In public healthcare sector, rapid increase in costs over the years due to increase in cost of activities and number of patients with chronic disease has raised various concerns among the stakeholders and triggered organization's management to initiate rational actions to smoothen the effects of the increase in operational cost. The main objectives of this study are to review and identify effectiveness of revenue collection practices and to make recommendations on how inflows of cash can be further improved and collection management can be enhanced more effectively in future.
