Abstract

Sport tourism can thus contribute to the development of a country. However, there are issues dispute sports tourism toward local community not forgot also be designed for locals as well as tourists The purpose of this study is to examine impact of sport tourism in development toward rural host community perspective in Tanah Merah Kelantan. Besides that, our objective is to investigate impact of sport tourism toward sport development in Tanah Merah. Other than that, this research aim to find relationship between sport tourism development, social impacts, environment impacts and economy impacts. Quantitative method used to analyze this research and questionnaires as research instrument, descriptive and Pearson correlation used to data analyzed. Ambiance is the strongest variable is economic impact. It can be concluded that economic impact of sport tourism development towards Tanah Merah Kelantan is accept by rural host community. The overall result is indicating that the respondent is aware with the sport development in Tanah Merah Kelantan. The rural host community it is expected that the findings of the study will bring extra knowledge to researcher in worldwide.
