Gua Musang is located at Southern part of Kelantan is and lithologically consists of massive limestone, interbedded with argillaceous at Musang Formation aged Permian to Triassic and sandstone at Gunung Rabong Formation aged middle Triassic. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the geoheritage values of potential caves geosite at Gua Musang to be conserved. This systematic study will concern several phases including inventory, characterization, classification, assessment, and evaluation of the site. For assessing its geoheritage values, the characteristics of scientific (and educational), aesthetic, recreational, cultural, economic, and functional values of caves at Gua Musang is determined. There are 13 potential cave geosites being identify and evaluate based on features exist, and classified into possible scope such geomorphology site, speleological site, paleontology site and archeology site. Quantitative and qualitative method is used for assessment these site, qualitative assessment show all the site possess scientific and educational value but not all site have others value that matter. Only four sites, Gua Panjang, Gua Madu, Gua Tokong Swee Nyet and Gua Musang compose values that score high in quantitative assessment using Kubalikova (2013) parameters. The evaluation of these site used SWOT analysis to recognize the factors that can contribute to the success of these geosite, all of these site have opportunity to become geosite if the government and authorities play their role in conserving and monitoring these sites so that the vandalism (threat) could be prevent.
