Environmental changes associated with the development of the country and to meet human needs and wants of the growing urgency to establish environmental education to create a society that cares and had understanding of the environment. A total of 233 respondents from four secondary schools in Pasir Mas had been involved in this study. The target of this study was to determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices among students of different schools. Knowledge has been divided into two categories such as specific and general. The practice has also been divided into two categories such as specific and general. The survey used a sample of questions that had been created by researchers before. The results of this study were analyzed using SPSS version 20 in which the study testing the effectiveness of Cronbatch Alpa (0.838) has been used before getting the actual test. Descriptive data, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation was a technique used to determine the students' environmental awareness. In this study, environmental education plays an important role in disseminating information and knowledge to the students so that they can broaden their knowledge about the environment and appled what they have learned. The results of this study shown that every school was had different level of environmental awareness. Part specific knowledge, general knowledge, attitude and general practice the highest level of awareness from Students School 2. Furthermore, specific practice Students School 4 had the highest rate. The next study is a comparison of waste that can be recycled, composted waste and waste among four schools in Pasir Mas. This study was to identify the level of awareness of students to practice waste segregation. Some suggestions are included in this study for the improvement of environmental education system in Malaysia to students and teachers.
