Abstract

This research covered two parts of studies. The study is discussed about general geology and determination depth circulation of Tok Bok Hotspring in Machang Kelantan It is bounded by latitudes 05° 49’ 30” to 05 ° 52’ 30”N and longitude 102°14’ 30” to 102° 17’ 0”E .The purposes of this study to update geological map of Tok Bok Hotspring. Lithology found in this study area is granite. From this study area, several rocks’ samples were collected and experimental petrology was carried out. The methods that used to determine major cation is ICP OES for Ca, Mg, Na, K, and Fe while for determine major anion is gravimetric, titration and colorimetric for Cl, F, S04 and HCO3. The main purpose for this study is to determine dissolved silica content in water sample to get an idea about the depth of origin groundwater. The depth of groundwater circulation is around 0.079 to 2.16 km Concentration of Silica versus Chloride and Silica versus Total Dissolved Solids showed the water samples are influent by the river water. For major cation and major anion, all samples are permissible for drinking purpose.
