Abstract

This research is to examine about determining the factors to engage in batik business among Kota Bharu’s batik entrepreneurs. This paper provides a brief review on factors to engage in batik business. Our purpose is define the factors that influence the batik entrepreneurs to their business in batik and how the batik entrepreneur conduct their batik business. This paper discuss the findings of the research and to examine whether the objectives of this research can be achieve. The research comes out with findings and analysis of data from the conducted study. By according with the study, objectives the researcher explore the factors that engaging in batik business among Kota Bharu’s batik entrepreneurs from for dimension which are location, demand, resources, and culture. From the finding of study concludes that the culture determine the entrepreneur to engage in batik business. It also conclude that the resources impact entrepreneur to engage in batik business although it influenced to a certain percentage. The study further concludes that the demand determine the engagement of entreprenuer in batik business. Finally the study concludes that the location influence entrepreneur to engage in batik business through the strategic location where Kota Bharu is the main city of Kelantan.The study finding have proved that there is significant factors of resources, location, demand and culture in the Kota Bharu’s entrepreneur to engage in batik business. Conclusion and recommendation will be suggested in the last chapter. This chapter also interpret the result of study based on the respondent feedback through answers the questionnaire that was distributed. Lastly, the limitation of the study will also be discussed and the researchers
