Investigating the effect of jazz music to the physical growth of Mustard Plant (Brassica Juncea L.)

The effect of different loudness of Jazz music (Chick Corea) on the Mustard plant was investigated. This study was carried out at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan Jeli Campus. This study was conducted for about six weeks which started in early of September to early November of 2015. The experiment was designed in Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with two replications. Mustard plants were exposed to Jazz music (Chick Corea) at different level which ranged loud, medium and control which is no music. The results revealed that Jazz music has significant effect to the height from shoot to root, fresh weight and dry weight. While no significant difference was found on number of leaves and area of leaves. The loud level of Jazz music was found to have the best effect in physical growth of mustard plant.
