Weak germination of seeds and long period of yielding in agriculture would bring financial loss to farmers. The use of dangerous and harmful chemical in pesticides raised environmental concerns such as water pollution. Therefore, the implementation of music treatment to promote plant growth can improve yield and avoid pollution to the environment. In this research, the effect of electronic dance music (electro house) on the growth of peppermint plant (Mentha piperita) was studied. This study was conducted for a duration of 30 days where the growth of peppermint was evaluated in terms of germination rate, length of stem and number of leaves. The results indicated that the electronic dance music has significantly increased the length of stem and number of leaves when compared to the control group whereas no significant effect on the germination rate. It can be concluded that implementation of electronic dance music can promote growth performance of peppermint.
