Abstract

This thesis presents an improved approach for a safety and security concerns among visitors at shopping mall. The importance of this study is to identify the safety concerns of shopping mall visitors and the impact of those concerns on shopping experiences that will be important to the ongoing success of the shopping mall. By using SPSS version 22.0 to analyze the 373 questionnaires from our respondents, we found that safety and security concerns among visitors at shopping mall depend on the factors of security system, security guard, and atmosphere. The 373 respondents vary from different age, nationality, gender, qualification, religion, and numbers of visit in the shopping mall. Our target respondent was visitors at East Coast Mall Pahang, Ujana Kewangan Labuan, and Aeon Mall Taiping. After this research, we acknowledged that security guard and atmosphere are the important factors influencing the shopping experiences of visitors. The limitations of this study and recommendations for future research study have also been discussed in the later chapters. As a result, the recommendations given in this study will assist future researchers to conduct related researches more accurately
