This study was aimed to determine the content of nutrients in the OPF juice, pressed OPF and commercial goat concentrate. The proximate analysis of different fraction OPF (whole, pressed, fresh and juice) and commercial goat concentrate were conducted. The effectiveness of the OPF juice on the performance of goat was determined by looking at the average weight gain and body condition score (BCS). Two different treatments diets were fed to the Katjang goats which were the first diet (pressed OPF, fresh OPF, and goat concentrate) and second diet (OPF juice, fresh OPP, and goat concentrate). These two treatment diets were fed for 1 month period to look at the performance of the goats. The development of goat weight was taken weekly. The findings of this study indicate that the OPF juice can be used as food for the goats. The results showed that the OPF juice is all suitable to be replaced molasses in animal feed. Future applications of this research are to be applied to goats in order to increase the weight a goat. Thus, further studies should be done to determine the optimum concentration of OPF juice for commercialization as well
as to investigate the in vitro rumen degradability work on goat and to identify the effects of OPF juice on meat quality.
