Abstract

A geologist record the observation in understanding the structure of the earth in geological map. Geological map are produce by using Geographic Information System (GIS) to keep all the field result and mapped. With application of GIS, map produces are more systematic. In understanding the geomorphology characteristic of gold potential, GIS application help to representing the zonation of potential area. Method uses to produce gold potential map is Multi Criteria Decision which is overlay all the parameter of gold occurrence. In order to understand parameter of gold occurrence, researcher do some desk study about the gold potential in a literature review part. Data are analyze from the secondary data collection. Field studies help researcher to understand about the lithology of the study area. From the data collection from field studies and secondary data collection geological map and zonation for gold potential map based on geomorphology are produced.
