General geology and geochemistry of soil in Panyit, Machang , Kelantan

This research study about general geology and geochemistry of soil at Panyit, Machang, Kelantan with longitude 102°11'56.41" to 102°13'48.26' and for latitude 05°41'48.65 to 05°39'37.30 with map scale 1:25000. The objectives for this study are to produce an updated geological map of study area and study about the heavy metal in soil of the study area (Cu, Cr, Pb and Zn) thus related with studies the abundances of Rare Earth Elements in the soil for mining purposes. In addition, it also to study the presence of cation in soil such as Nitrium (Na), Cadmium (Cd), Magnesium (Mg), and Calcium (Ca). In this study, there are two methods such as mapping for updated geological map and experiment for cation exchange capacity, pH, moisture content, organic content, particles size distribution and identify percentage of heavy metals in soil sample. As conclusion, there are geological structure result based on mapping and soil sampling for soil in the study area.
