General Geology and Sedimentology of Paloh-Lebir Highway. Gua Musang.

The research was conducted along Paloh-Lebir Highway. Gua N.Tusang. Kelantan at Kilometer 48. Gua \Iusang- Kuala Krai Highway to understanding the geology of the study area. This study deals with sedimentology and depositional environment studies by correlate with facies analysis. There have four outcrop that exposed in study area include sedimentary rock such as sandstone. shale. siltstone and mudstone. The sandstone of this study area is generally tine. medium to coarse grained. There are five facies which have been analyzed around the area which include interbedded of laminated mudstone and massive sandstone facies. interbedded sandstone.mudstone and siltstone facies. interbedded shale and silt facies. interbedded shale and sandstone facies. and interbedded sandstone. siltstone and shale facies. The depositional environment of the study area is between shoreface to tidal flat.
