Abstract

In this experiment a total 30 broilers were used and this experiment was carried out at animal health laboratory. Broiler was selected randomly from broiler production house according to their group age 3, 4 and 5 weeks. The broilers were slaughter and cut into cuts such as breast, drumstick, wing, head, feather, leg carcass. In term of age, broiler in group 5 weeks are suitable for slaughter because age have favourable impact on dressing percentage, breast, and drumstick and wing weight. There is highly significant (P<0.05) different between age and weight of cut in broilers. As age of broiler increase weight of each cut linearly increase but after week 5 broilers not suitable to rear because their less active and leg cannot support their body weight does lead to death. But in the other hand sex does not have significant (P>0.05) different between cuts of broiler. So farmer can rear both sex without need to separate between male and female.
