Acridotheres tristis called as Common Myna are distributed in Iran and southern Russia east to the Indian subcontinent and southern China through South-East Asia and the Malay Peninsula (Allen, 2012). Common Myna body is brown, with a glossy black head, neck and upper breast. Common Mynas have distinctive white patches on their wings that are clearly visible in flight. In this study, the caring practices/management of Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis) were observed and documented. There are several component involves in caring practices of Common Myna including diets; feed, and drinking, grooming; bathing and claws and feathers trimming, housing, and internal parasites in Common Myna. Common Myna is categorized as omnivorous type. It tends to eat most insects, fruits and pellet. In addition, there are various endo parasitic can be found in common myna feces for instance coccidian-like and giardia-like.
