Abstract

Rockfall analysis is required in any cut slope rock especially at the roadway. The rockfall hazard is usually occur at the mountainous region as the man made structure was build at that area. Many lives were taken and properties severely damage because of this hazard. This is because there is no remedial measures or analysis of the rockfall at the precisely area of rockfall hazard. There is no perfect accuracy of the rockfall prediction and it cannot be avoided unless the remedial measures and mitigation is proposed to the affected area to protect it. So, the analysis of the rockfall hazard must be taken. In the term of rock analysis, the Rockfall Hazard System (RHRS) is most widely used in many countries in the world. This system is a semi-quantitative system for ranking rockfall hazard along entirely segments of the slope of rock. The fields studies must be include the mapping of slope, the surveying of the discontinuities and precision of the prediction.
