This study proposed to investigate the antibacterial activity liquid hand wash mixed with three different herbal extracts; Centella asiatica, Cassia alata and Cinnamon. These herbal extract was studied by against most common pathogen that are normally present in the human skin, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeroginosa. The bactericidal activity test of the prepared hand wash against skin pathogens was checked using the Disc Diffusion method and the result were compared with among them. All three erbal extracts hand wash inhibited Pseudomonas aeroginosa. For Staphylococcus aureus, only inhibited by herbal hand wash with Cinnamon extract. Hence, due to higher antimicrobial activity in the Cinnamon extract, this plant material potentially to develop as the active ingredients for replacing Tricloson.
