Lata Janggut, which is part of Sungai Long, is one of the enchanting cascades in Jeli district, Kelantan. The aim of this paper is to discuss the geoheritage resources and geotourism potential of Lata Janggut. The geological mapping has become the basis to identify geoheritage resources of this cascade. From the geological mapping, it can be seen that this cascade is formed on the exposed body of the intrusive igneous rock which is batholith. Other than just a cascade, some parts of Lata Janggut are exposing fault, joints and potholes. In the upper part of this cascade, we can find a waterfall as high as 5 meters; meanwhile the downstream of the cascade is shallow and looks like a swimming pool. Swimming, jungle trekking and barbecues are some potential geotourism activities in the area.
