The landslide susceptibility of a region is important for socioeconomic considerations and engineering application. Thus a proper management of data in order to predict the zone where prone to landslide had been done using Arc GIS software. This paper is study about geological and landslide susceptibility zonation (LSZ) map of Limau Kasturi within Gua Musang, Kelantan. Detailed geological mapping in Limau Kasturi area on scales of 1:25 000 was carried out individually. In general this area is located at northern part of Gua Musang, which had population about 86 189 people and had received rainfall amount about 150mm — 200mm within June for 2013. This area also involves under project of KESEDAR where activity of plantation of rubber trees and oil palm trees become main socioeconomic activity. In order to produce a landslide susceptibility zonation (LSZ) map, a statistical knowledge-based LSZ system integrated with Geographical Information System (GIS) environment was applied to access the study area. The paper explains a system to access automatically vulnerability due to landslide of a region by categorizing landslide hazard using spatial and temporal causative factors. The causative factors considered are slope, relative relief, lithology, soil type and land use land cover (LULC). Finally the output model provides a LSZ map, which systems suggest that about 86.43% of the area determine as moderate hazard and 13.57% is low hazard area.
