The study for geology of Dabong, Kuala Krai, Kelantan was carried out approximately 25 km' in part of Dabong. The purpose of the study is to study the general geology of the study area and lastly produce a geological map of the study area. Method use to collect thfieedatldwaowkas by study preliminary research related to the area and also by conducting mapping. Based on that, it can be concluded t that the study area was consist of three types of rock distribution which are granite, limestone, and pyllite, slate with subordinate sandstone and schist. Meanwhile, for coastal changes analysis study was carried out along the coastline of Pengkalan Datu to Kemasin to develop coastline changes pattern using GIS method and the second is to determine current boundary of the coastline of the study area. The study area was located at North Kelantan. The study was carried out approximately 5 km along the coastline of Kelantan, started from rivermouth of Sungai Pengkalan Datu to the rivermouth of Sungai Kemasin. At Pengkalan Datu and Kemasin, a pair of shore-connected breakwaters was built to keep the river mouth open for navigation and flood mitigation. The effect of this construction was to create deposition to the south of the breakwater and erosion to the north. The priority of this study is to analyses the data by using GIS method and formed the series of coastline changes started from year 2000, year 2005 and year 2012. The shoreline changes can be determine based on three different parameters in analyses the coastal changes include the eroded alienated land, the coastline area and the overlay of the coastline from each year which shows the coastal changes pattern of the study area. Finding of the study revealed that the unchanged coastline is 36.97%, the erosion of the shoreline reached 55.14%, and the accreted shoreline is only 7.89%. Means that the erosion process is higher and the shoreline continues depleted landward.
