Growth and yield performance of selected vegetables species under rain shelter cultivation in Agropark UMK Jeli Campus

The feasibility of growing different vegetables in Malaysia is justified as Malaysia has nearly 24% land area dedicated to agriculture sector but not every place in Malaysia is suitable for growing vegetables. Vegetables need a suitable environment for their optimum growth and yield performance. This research is to study the growth performance and yield production of selected species of vegetables grown in Agropark UMK Jeli Campus under rain shelter cultivation and to estimate the cultivation cost among the selected crops. Out of seven species of vegetables grown, there were only four species that produce yield.
