Abstract

A study on influence of vermicompost and vermin tea to growth and yield of Brassica campestris ssp. Parachinensis, mustard green was carried out at Agropark University Malaysia Kelantan , Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan. Three different application rate of vermicompost : 15g/plant , 25g/plant , 35g/ plant and three different concentration of vermin tea : 25mI/L water, 50mI/L water ,75mI/L water and also N:P:K fertilizer 15 : 15: 15 was used as control. The result of the study showed that vermicompost give positive result to the growth and yields of mustard greens compare to vermin tea. But compare to fertilizer, the performance of fertilizer on growth and yield of mustards are better compare to the vermin products. The study also showed that the higher rate of vermin product application to the plant give positive effect on growth and yield of the plant. Based on Anova analysis, both treatment, vermicompost and vermin tea do not give any significant effect on growth rate and yield of Brass/ca campestris ssp. parachinensis, Mustard greens compare to the chemical fertilizer.
