Factors that influence job satisfaction among sme’s employee in Pendang, Kedah

Job satisfaction is said to be one of the factors that increase an employee’s spirit and loyal. A loyal employee will give a benefit to the company. Thus, understanding the factors that influence the job satisfaction related to it is important. The objective of the study was examine to the relationship of the job satisfaction and its four influence factors, work ethic, relationship with employer, workplace environment, and compensation. The research questionnaire was used to collect data, and descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis was performed. The result shows that there is significant correlation between job satisfaction and its factors which is workplace environment, compensation, workplace environment and relationship with employer. Referring to the results of the "correlation Coefficient" found factors such as work ethics, compensation, work environment, and relationships with their employers are .947, .926, .955 and .909. Positive relationship between job satisfaction and it influence’s factors shows that strong relationships where work ethics, compensation, work environment and relationships with employers heavily influence their job satisfaction.
