This study had been conducted by using Schizostachuyum Jaculans as sample and it was harvested at Pergau Forest Reserve in Kelantan. The ages of the bamboo studied are 1,2,3 and 4. For every age, three replications is harvested. Two important aspects studied are morphological and physical characteristics. For morpological, the features investigate are habit, culms, branches and leaves. For physical characteristics, the features measured are internode diameter, node diameter and internode wall thickness. Mean for internode length for year 1,2,3 and 4 are 74.36cm, 70.0533cm, 78.5533cm and 66.56cm respectively. Mean for internode diameter of bamboo age 1,2,3 and 4 are 3.03333cm, 1.56511cm, 2.71822cm and 2.54756cm. Node diameter have means of 2.97689cm, 1.70978cm, 2.832.cm and 2.584cm for age 1,2,3 and 4 repectively. Means for wall thickness for age 1,2,3 and 4 are 0.854cm, 0.740889cm, 0.865222cm and 1.01022cm.
