This project entitle as classification of water in view of agricultural utilization in Kampung Tunjung, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Kampung Tunjung area is a paddy field areas that use river water for the irrigation. The suitability of the water for irrigation depends on the water quality itself. The suitability of the water for irrigation depends on the water quality itself. The different quality of the water will cause a different result of the crop production. For the analysis of the water quality in-situ method the Multi Parameter YSI were used to observe the quality. Multi Parameter YSI equipped with sensors for determination of temperature, pH, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), dISSOLVED Oxygen (DO) and specific conductance available parameters that can be involved for in-situ parameter. Water samples will be collected by using a pail and the water will pour into a sample bottle with the proper presevation chemicals like nitric acid. It is important to retain chemicals properties of the water before analyses. Other than in-situ parameter, the physical observation has also been done in order to observe the surrounding area. From result, all water sample of Kampung Tunjung fall into group lla, llb and lll of the National Water Quality Standard for Malaysia (NWQSM) whic is clean and suitable for agriculture purpose. In the study, the tmperature, pH, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and Ammoniacal Nitrogen (NH3N) are ranged from 26.22-28.22, 6.13-6.71, 3.00-6.00, 24.00-51.00, 3.00-6.00, 50.00-150.00, and 0.30-1.00 repetitively.
