Abstract

The appearance, behavior and communication play an important role to measure self image. The self image of researcher want to study is among the professionals at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan(UMK). Professionals should know about the self image so that their audience should not boring when they see them. Professionals must be attractive to attract the audience. The main objective of the research is to study how much importance of the self-image among professionals. Besides that, this research also will determine what factors that influence the self-image among professionals at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Finally, this research also aims to know the relationship between the professionals and audience. The independent variables included in this research are appearance, behavior, and communication skills. The dependent variable is self image. A survey questionnaire which consists of four sections. Each section contains five (5) questions.. A total of 150 respondents from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan were selected as a sample. Data collected was analyzed using SPSS 16.0. From the findings, there are positive correlation relationships between appearance, behavior and communication skills with the self image among professionals. Discussion on findings, conclusion and limitation of study are also included in the report.
