Abstract

This research is examined the local customer satisfaction towards fast food restaurants around Bercham, Ipoh. The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between service quality, food quality and price with customer satisfaction towards fast food restaurants in Ipoh. 100 questionnaires were distributed to fast food customers. Data collected was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0. From the findings, there were positive significant relationship between service quality, food quality and price with customer satisfaction. This shows service quality, food quality and price are most important elements in determining customer satisfaction towards fast food restaurants. Future researchers could discover the reason for those factors becoming the leading factors in determining customer satisfaction in this field. Among demographic details which are found to be related to fast food customers are employment status and income level. Discussion on findings, conclusion and limitations of study are also included in the report.
