A study on managerial practices among small medium enterprises in Kelantan

There are rumours that saying Kelantanese has the most entrepreneurial culture cultivation among their people and Pasar Siti Khadijah is one of the examples of how actively the entrepreneurial culture is being conducted in Kelantan. The Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Kelantan also plays important roles in contributes towards the Kelantan economy with active participants by the Kelantanese but still Kelantan state is the second (2) poorest state in Malaysia. That is why this study examines the managerial practices that are used among the Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Kelantan. The research of managerial practices is used to define what methods that are best used in measuring effectiveness among the SME’s and searching the defectiveness of management in the SME itself. This research is done in Kota Bharu where it is the centre of economic activity for Kelantan.
